Mountain bike holidays in the Grand Massif..

The Grand Massif truly is a backcountry mountain biking paradise of endless technical and flowing singletrack, high mountain plateaus and canyons, and apart from the odd bike alp customer - comlpetely undiscovered by the world of mountain biking.

Rides are ski lift assisted throughout the summer meaing we can ride from 600 - 2500m and take in epic descents up to 16km in length without hours of climbing.

Situated in Samoens, just an hour from Geneva, we are ideally positioned not only for the Grand Massif, but also for Morzine and Les Gets, just 10 mins away over our northern ridgeline. Riding both areas during your stay provides an excellent mix of the backcountry wilderness of the Massif and the Portes du Soleils' finest man made trails. All rides finish (with a huge descent) at the bike alp chalet

Our type of riding would generally be considered 'all mountain' though we'd prefer not to categorize as pretty much everything's on offer - eg: a typical ride for us would probably involve ski lifts, plenty of climbs and huge descents finished with a couple hours in the jump park in the woods behind the chalet! Basically if you enjoy biking in stunning surroundings - you won't be disappointed..

You can get a better idea of a typical ride here. Or check out some video footage

We're more than happy to accommodate long weekends and flexible breaks, in which case we'll discuss how much riding we can get in. But a weeks' stay would involve 4-5 guided rides depending on your ability and preference with 1 or 2 free days where you can sample some of the huge range of activities on offer - all of which we are happy to organise during or prior to your stay with us. We'll also provide minibus support and uplifts.

And don't forget to bring your lights if you fancy some mountain biking by moonlight - it's an awesome experience and we're more than happy to guide a couple night rides during your stay with us!
